Chicago -- Congressman Danny K. Davis, elected officials, supporters and campaign staff filed petitions for President of the Cook County Board. The petitions were assembled in sets of three, representing over 2700 pages. Davis was asked to take the oversized petitions, piled high on a red wagon, on the freight elevator, where numerous television cameras, print and radio reporters, and over one hundred supporters waited outside the elevator doors.
Congressman Danny K. Davis has developed a unique and energetic style of communication and interaction with constituents, by setting up dozens of advisory task forces to consider significant questions of public policy.
